Leonardo José was born on February 27, 1943 in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro [ex-Distrito Federal], Brazil. He was an actor, known for Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). He died on November 18, 2021 in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

He is a famous dubber in Brazil, he did the voices of Thanos in the Avengers Infinity War, Endgame, Age of Ultron, Guardians of the Galaxy. He has been chosen by Clint Eastwood to give him his portuguese voice for the movie Unforgiven.(1992).
