She was asked to audition for Times Square (1980) after being noticed in the street by someone connected with the production company. When she signed to do the movie, she also signed with the organization that produced the movie and they promised to develop more projects for her but never did.

Wins the "LA Weekly" award for Best Female Performance for "An Unhappy Woman." (April 1998)

Records the commentary track for the "Times Square" DVD with the film's director Allan Moyle. (1999)
