George Johnson was born in February 1887 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. He was a writer, known for By Right of Birth (1921). He died on October 17, 1977 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

He was the General Booking Manager of the early African American film company Lincoln Motion Picture Co., founded by he and his older brother, actor Noble Johnson.
