Tanja Jess was born on 6 January 1967 in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, West Germany [now in Germany]. She is an actress, known for Bloedverwanten (2010), Goede tijden, slechte tijden (1990) and Goede tijden, slechte tijden: De reünie (1998). She has been married to Charly Luske since 9 August 2008. They have two children.

When she was 5 1/2 years old, her parents moved to the Netherlands. She
grew up in Eindhoven, Noord-Brabant.
