Biography

Günther Jerschke was born on October 8, 1921 in Breslau, Silesia, Germany [now Wroclaw, Dolnoslaskie, Poland]. He was an actor, known for Salem Aleikum (1959). He died on May 6, 1997 in Hamburg, Germany.

Was the German voice of Ralph Bellamy, Denholm Elliott and Lewis Stone.

He was known in the sixties for his regular appearances in the movie newsreels where he promoted accident prevention in humorous film spots as undertaker or "Surgeon of black humor".
