- Did two nude layouts in Playboy magazine. One, at age 40, was titled "Frantastic!" The other, when she was 45, was titled "Still Frantastic!".

Quine's first wife was actress Susan Peters, who was shot and paralyzed after her gun accidentally discharged and a bullet lodged in her spine while she and Quine were on a hunting trip in San Diego. Quine committed suicide in 1989 after years of poor health.
