Biography

Richard Jay has been working in the Television and Film Industry for the last 30 years. He started his journey on the award winning TV show in the UK, 'The Big Breakfast' on C4, and then worked his way up to a Boom Operator and then Sound Recordist. He has been lucky enough to have filmed all over the world, with some of the best and renowned figures in the industry.

Richard recently turned his hand to Producing, where he has worked on a number of short films, music videos & branded/viral content.

Richard in 2016, was very excited to be making his first major US movie as a Producer for 'The Red Man', where he collaborated forces with Jimmie Gonzalez & John Aquaviva, whose vision, enthusiasm and movie know-how brought the movie to life! The movie won numerous film festivals awards, and received critical acclaim around the globe, and is now available to stream online all VOD's.

Most recently Richard helped produce Donny Osmond 'The Soundtrack of my Life' TV Commercial and 'The Weeknd' music videos in Las Vegas, 'Heartless' & 'Blinding Lights'.

Richard is excited about his new movie project 'The Lonely War', a period drama set against the fight for fascism in the 1940's.
