Georg Jarno was born on 3 June 1868 in Budapest, Austria-Hungary [now Hungary]. He was a writer and composer, known for The Bohemian Dancer (1926), Die Försterchristl (1952) and Die Csikosbaroneß (1930). He was married to Susanne Hirschbein. He died on 25 May 1920 in Breslau, Silesia, Germany [now Wroclaw, Dolnoslaskie, Poland].
