Karel Janák was born on 24 September 1970 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He is a director and writer, known for Raftáci (2006), Intimate Enemy (2018) and Dvanáct mesícku (2012). He has been married to Romana Goscíková since August 2017. They have one child.
