Biography

Emily James is a Canadian actress recognized for her portrayal as Sam Worthington's daughter in the FX series Under the Banner of Heaven, alongside Andrew Garfield. Prior to this, Emily delivered a standout lead performance in Mia, a short film written and directed by Han Siu. Her role in Mia earned her the "Award of Excellence in Acting" at the 2015 International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, highlighting her promise in independent film.

Recently, Emily starred as one of the supporting leads in the thriller There’s No Way Out, a Lifetime movie which has now been released, and has made other appearances in locally shot films such as Shadow of God. She will also be appearing in another drama television series set to be released soon.
