  • -A 1991 graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, Stéphane Jacques made a name for himself early on in his career. He was part of the unforgettable "Nez à nez" at Théâtre de Quat'Sous from 1992 to 1994. He was in the cast of "Contes urbains", "Willy Protagoras enfermé dans les toilettes", "Comme en Alaska", "Gagarin Way", "Il n'y a plus rien" and "La Mélodie du Bonheur". Stéphane has also appeared in "Histoire de fous", "Nom de domaine", "Des couteaux dans les poules", "La puce à l'oreille", "Opening Night", "Peau d'ours", "Une heure de tranquillité" at Théâtre Jean-Duceppe, "Une mort accidentelle" presented at La Licorne, and "Le nom", at Théâtre Prospero. On television, Stéphane made his mark in such productions as "Virginie", "La petite vie", "Fortier", "Grande ourse", "Vice caché", "Le Négociateur", "Annie et ses Hommes", as well as in "Mauvais Karma", "Mirador" and "Toute la vérité". He played the villainous Franck Manseau-Fisher in "Mémoires vives" and Sergeant Labonté in Louis Bélanger's series "Séquelles". He has also appeared in "Feux", "District 31", "L'imposteur", "Mensonges" and "Une autre histoire". His film credits include Kim Nguyen's "Truffe", Gabrielle Pelletier's "La vie après l'amour", Pierre Falardeau's "15 février 1839", Michel Boujenah's "Père et fils", Wajdi Mouawad's "Littoral", Marie-Jan Seille's "La lune viendra d'elle-même", Guy A. Lepage's "Camping sauvage" and François Bouvier's "Miss Météo". Stéphane also starred in Louis Bélanger's film "Les mauvaises herbes". Stéphane is also co-founder of Théâtre Urbi et Orbi, founded in 1992.
