Co-authored with Warren Casey the nostalgic rock and roll musical of the 1950s, "Grease", whose world premiere, prior to its record-breaking run on Broadway, opened in Feb. 1971 at Chicago's Kingston Mines Theatre, where Jacobs and Casey were members of the acting company.
