- Born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1968. Attended St. Matthew Elementary, Bishop Gallagher High School. He then went on to business school at Wayne State University for two years. In 1988 Danny transferred to the University of Arizona. He graduated as a musical theatre major. Worked in Regional theaters across the country. Has done many voice-overs for commercial, promo, video game and animated projects. He is the 6th of 7 children, has 14 nieces and nephews and 5 Godchildren.

Some other theatre roles include originating the role of Chico in Jeff Daniels' The Vast Difference, Al in On the Open Road, Romeo in R&J, Sam and the other 37 roles in Fully Committed, Einstein in The Physicists and Hugh Butternut in Triple Espresso. He has also directed and written for stage and screen and served as Artistic Director of three different Theatre Companies. Film and TV credits include, Mad Men, Samarra, Epic Movie, Hostel III. As a singer, Mr. Jacobs has recorded many songs in character voice for various shows and in his own singing voice. He sang with Hans Zimmer and other great film composers several times including Dreamworks Live at The Hollywood Bowl and Pandamonium at the Althorpe Estate in England. He has big family including 6 siblings, 14 nieces and nephews and 6 godchildren and loves to play golf, tennis and piano in his free time. From time to time he is asked to do speaking engagements covering varied topics ranging from the voice acting business to his Catholic Faith and many topics in between.
