  • In the late 1950s Arthur A. Jacobs joined forces with his friend Richard E. Cunha on the low-budget chiller Giant from the Unknown (1958) and the sci-fi/horror adventure She Demons (1958). Jacobs was also involved with the Wrather Corporation, ending up as vice-president in charge of production and distribution. He later worked for actors-turned-TV producers Danny Thomas, Sheldon Leonard and Aaron Spelling.

  • A veteran film salesman and movie and TV producer, was a former Second World War veteran of the United States Army Air Corps, and served with distinction in the European Theater. One of his proudest moments during the war was helping to rescue the wounded from the Battle of the Bulge, flying them immediately to hospitals in the United States for treatment. It saved many lives.
  • Attended prestigious schools such as Northeastern University and the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) where he studied Theatre Arts.
  • With director Richard E. Cunha, he founded Screencraft Enterprises in the mid-1950s and specialized in TV commercials, including some of the first aired on Los Angeles stations. He also owned and operated a theatrical film distributing company in the United States for several years as well as personally producing several motion pictures for theatrical release.
