Anthony Jacobs was born on March 23, 1918 in Weymouth, England, UK. He was an actor, known for The Mill on the Floss (1965), Madame Bovary (1964) and The Black Tulip (1956). He was married to Ann Felicity Jameson and Katharine Blake. He died in August 1993 in Hertfordshire, England, UK.

Although he was 48 years old when he played Doc Holliday in A Holiday for the Doctor (1966), Don't Shoot the Pianist (1966), Johnny Ringo (1966) and The O.K. Corral (1966), Holliday was only 30 at the time of the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral on October 26, 1881 and 36 at the time of his death on November 8, 1887.

He was the son of Dorothea and Emanuel Julien Jacobs. His mother was from Melbourne, Australia. His parents were from English Jewish families.
