Hideaki Ito, born in 1975, in Nagasaki, Japan, and raised in Gifu, is a renowned Japanese actor known for his versatility and charismatic presence in both film and television. He graduated from Gifu Prefectural Ginan Technical High School and later moved to Tokyo after having been chosen in a competition for a talent agency for young male actors. Hideaki's breakthrough role came in 2004 when he starred in the film and TV series, "Umizaru", a film about the lives of Japan Coast Guard officers. Each of the Umizaru films ranked in the top 100 highest grossing films in Japan, including both Japanese and Western films. His performance garnered significant attention and cemented his status as a leading actor in Japanese cinema.
