Showtime (2009) as its signature greeting for audiences on the ABS-CBN variety show. "Madlang pipol" is a popular Filipino slang term that means "the general public," "the crowd," or "everyone". It is a playful, localized mashup of the Tagalog word madla (the public) and the English word people.
