  • Sheldon Inkol was born in St. Catharines, Ontario. Since obtaining his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production from York University in Toronto, Sheldon has worked in a variety of positions within the Canadian film and television industry. His writing credits include CARVER'S GATE (1996), SPECIMEN (1996), DARK SIDE (2003) and HELLBOX (2021). His directing credits include CARVER'S GATE, HELLBOX and the short films FRIENDLY GHOSTS (1987) and THE DEVIL NEXT DOOR (2005). CARVER'S GATE was an official entrant in the 1996 Atlantic Film Festival and the 1st International Film Festival of Madrid in 1997.

    In addition to his film credits, Inkol wrote the Rip-Off Press comic book series NUT RUNNERS, illustrated by Stuart Immonen, and wrote the play UNINVITED, which was mounted at both the New Ideas Festival and SummerWorks Festival in 2002. He also reviewed movies for VIDEO WATCHDOG MAGAZINE from 2006 to 2009.

    Inkol is also known for his research and writing on the Kennedy assassination. He was profiled on CBC's news program THE JOURNAL in a 1992 segment entitled "The Assassinologist".
