Biography

Frankie Ingrassia is an award-winning director, writer, and actor with a flair for bold, offbeat storytelling. She made her feature debut with the retro-horror comedy Vampire Dad (2020), which she wrote, directed, and co-produced. An LA native and Sicilian-Italian creative force, Frankie's on-screen credits include HBO's The Positively True Adventures..., Alexander Payne's cult classic Election, Amazon's Goliath (opposite Billy Bob Thornton), and Adult Swim's The Jellies! with Tyler, the Creator.

Her directing work spans award-winning shorts, festival favorites, and groundbreaking projects - from being one of the first women to shoot PR footage for the iconic Coachella Music Festival to her latest short film, Detach, now featured on Amazon's Short Stories. Whether in front of the lens or behind it, Frankie brings indie grit, sharp humor, and striking visual style to every project.
