Biography

Erwin Immerman was born in Bay City, Michigan, USA to Lena and Abraham Immerman. He moved to Los Angeles in 1959 and was a member of the Screen Actors Guild for 48 years, with his career focusing on voice over/narration. Erwin's professional life began in the early years of television, in 1954 on Channel 7, WXYZ-TV Detroit, Michigan as a local program host - "The Black Spider". Around June 1954, Immerman was involved in a car collision where he received a fractured hip, and was admitted to the Ford Hospital to undergo surgery. Immerman was a regular in film, television, network commercials, corporate promotions and documentaries, and was honoured by The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the International Film & Television Festival of New York.
