Biography

Jean Image was born on January 26, 1910 in Budapest, Austria-Hungary [now Hungary]. He was a director and writer, known for Pluk, naufragé de l'espace (1979), Moon Madness (1983) and Recréation (1956). He was married to Eraine and France Image. He died on October 25, 1989 in Paris, France.

Hungarian-born French animator, whose Johnny the Giant Killer (1950) gained international recognition.
