Biography

Peter Illing was born on March 4, 1899 in Vienna, Austria. He was an actor, known for Walk a Crooked Mile (1961), Pursuit of the Graf Spee (1956) and Bhowani Junction (1956). He was married to Maxine Wolpert. He died on October 29, 1966 in London, England.

A naturalized Briton, he was of German-Turkish parentage and went from Berlin to Britain in 1938.
