Haruna Ikezawa

  • She made her first appearance as a voice actress on 1994, voicing a minor character in the Japanese dub of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.
  • Her first main role would came in 1996, when she voiced Go Seiba in Bakusou Kyoudai: Let's & Go.
  • She was a member of More Peach Summer alongside Mamiko Noto and Chiwa Saito.
  • She was born on Athens, Greece, and would visit the place again after 20 years leaving the country on 1984 to record a program for NHK.
  • She also writes essays, following her father's path. Her father is Natsuki Ikezawa, a poet, novelist, essayist, and translator.
  • Speaking of her VOCALOID (Macne Nana), Ikezawa wanted to have a voice synthesizer program compatible for the Mac OS, so that inspired her to create Macne Nana. Her first voicebank did not use the VOCALOID engine, but was instead created as an alternative synthesiser. She was intended to be the first vocal synthesiser for Mac and was inspired by the success of Hatsune Miku.
