Biography

Hedi Höpfner was born on May 15, 1910 in Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for The Csardas Princess (1934), Capriccio (1938) and Mach' mich glücklich (1935). She died on August 24, 1988 in Hamburg, Germany.

German dancer and actress, trained at the Städtischen Oper in Berlin. On stage and in Ufa films of the 1930's, mostly in conjunction with her younger sister Margot. In the 1950's, opened a dance academy in Hamburg, the Bühnenstudio Hedi Höpfner.
