Magnus Härenstam was born on 19 June 1941 in Västervik, Kalmar län, Sweden. He was an actor and writer, known for Två killar och en tjej (1983), The Adventures of Picasso (1978) and Who Pulled the Plug? (1981). He was married to Birgitta Plånborg Ryott and Anita Bendel. He died on 13 June 2015 in Stockholm, Stockholms län, Sweden.

Became, in the eighties, Sweden&#39;s first stand-up-comedian.

Has worked a lot together with <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0117530/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Brasse Brännström</a>. From 1991 until 2005, he was the host of the Swedish version of <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0779470/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Jeopardy! (1991)</a>.

Has announced that he will leave as the host of the Swedish version of <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0779470/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Jeopardy! (1991)</a> after 14 years and he will continue working with other TV and stage projects. (December 2005)
