Michael Clayton Hutton(1920-1953)

Son of Clayton Hutton. Wrote the play "Power without Glory" which was crucial in the career of Dirk Bogarde. His other plays include "The Happy Family", "Sleep on My Shoulder" and "Dead Secret". Gassed himself to death at his house in Ovington Street, Chelsea, aged 33. It was his second attempt at suicide. For several years he had lived with Robert David Walton.
