David Hutcheson was born on June 14, 1905 in Craigmore, Isle of Bute, Scotland, UK. He was an actor, known for The National Health (1973), The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (1943) and Sleeping Car to Trieste (1948). He died on February 18, 1976 in London, England, UK.

Long-faced British light leading actor of cheerful disposition, often appearing as friend of the hero. From 1952, regularly on stage at the London West End with a penchant for playing Colonel Pickering in 'My Fair Lady'.

In The Abominable Dr. Phibes, as one of Vincent Price's victims, he very much resembles Vincent Price (as can be seen on David's Wikipedia page).
