- Jupp Hussels was born on January 30, 1901 in Düsseldorf, Germany. He was an actor, known for Drei tolle Tage (1936), Rheinische Brautfahrt (1939) and Der dunkle Punkt (1940). He died on April 10, 1986 in Großenhain, Germany.
- German cabaret artiste, also a stage, screen and radio comedian. He was at his most popular in the 1930's and 40's. Also a regular performer (as 'Büttenredner') at the annual Rhineland carnivals. Latterly took on painting.
