Knut Husebø was born on 10 May 1946 in Norway. He was an actor, known for Max Manus: Man of War (2008), The Flight of the Eagle (1982) and Cold Lunch (2008). He died on 30 May 2026 in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka.

Debuted in 1968 in the role Flyndrefanten in the play Taremare staged at Den Nationale Scene.

Employed at the National Theatre 1977–1979 and 1982–1983.

Employed at the Nationaltheatret 1969–1971 and 1975–1986.

Also distinguished himself as a visual artist.
