- Born in South Australia; November 1944, David discovered theatre in 1965 when he resigned from Teacher's college to join John Edmund at Theatre 62, Burbridge Road (now Sir Donald Bradman Drive) Hilton, Adelaide in 1965. A considerable list of stage, and backstage, performances followed - which included performances with the Cottage Theatre (Ric Marshall), Adelaide Theatre Group, Sheridan Theatre Group,... until marriage in 1969. Further Stage performances were with The Stage Company (Brian Debnam).
