Biography

J. Paul Huntsman was born on February 4, 1953 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA. He was a production manager, known for The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989), The Thin Red Line (1998) and Deep Blue Sea (1999). He was married to Jessica Gallavan. He died on February 21, 2008 in Glendale, California, USA.

At the Academy Award ceremony held in 2008, in his acceptance speech for Best Sound for 'The Bourne Ultimatum', Scott Millan dedicated his victory to Huntsman.

He began his career in film in Salt Lake City, Utah at Schick Sun Classic, where he worked on projects including the television series "Grizzly Adams".

Graduated from the U. of Utah and then spent two years in the Peace Corps.
