  • Rich Hull's 25+ film projects have generated hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue and range from movies such as Disney/Miramax's "She's All That," one of the most successful teen movies in history...to studio sequels, such as those for "Daddy Day Care" and "American Psycho"...to award-winners such as his collaboration with Halle Berry, "For Love of Liberty: The Story of America's Black Patriots," for which he won the NAACP Image Award. He most recently partnered with Chris Pratt and the U.S. Army to write, co-direct, and produce the feature documentary film "Fighting Spirit: A Combat Chaplain's Journey," which was released nationwide in theaters for Veterans Day and holds a 100% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

    He's a founder of the ViX streaming service (formerly known as Pongalo), the world's largest streaming service for Spanish speakers, which was acquired in 2021 by TelevisaUnivision. ViX was named by Apple as its TV App of the Year, the first Spanish-language app to win Apple's top global honor, and offers 75,000 hours of content through a robust technology engine.

    For his leadership, Rich has been honored with the Los Angeles Business Journal's 2024 LA500 Award of its 500 most influential people; Variety's Dealmaker of the Year; Forbes' 1000 list of America's top entrepreneurs; and the streaming industry's OTT.X Hero Award. He's a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and the Academy of TV Arts & Sciences, and is co-founder of Vanderbilt-in-Hollywood, which has placed hundreds of student-interns for 20 years, and awards need-based scholarships through a fund Rich established. He has been active with numerous non-profits and boards, including Vanderbilt University's Alumni Association, OTT.X, and Paulist Productions, the multi-Emmy winning media group that tells positive human stories, along with the James Beard Foundation's national Awards Committee.
