Biography

Kevin Hughes was born on March 16, 1952 in Hollywood, California, USA. He is known for Blast from the Past (1999), Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993) and Piranha (1978). He has been married to Dody Dorn since October 6, 2002.

In addition to his work as a prop department PA in the Philipenes, Kevin spent 3 days as a photo double for Denis Hopper while on Apocalypse Now (1979).

Kevin's stagehand grandfather (Thomas Hughes) opened and closed the curtain between films at the Chinese Theater. Kevin and his brother spent many childhood hours playing back stage with the marquis letters, life-size cut outs of movie stars and giant bags of popcorn.

In the 1950s, Kevin's stagehand father (Herbert J Hughes) flew in the duck when someone said the secret word on You Bet Your Life with Groucho Marx.
