- Ferd Hugas was born on May 14, 1937 in The Hague, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. He was a writer and actor, known for Medisch Centrum West (1988), Het wassende water (1986) and De zevensprong (1982). He was married to Lidewij de Iongh. He died on February 3, 2025 in The Hague, Netherlands.

- After high school (1949-1956) and two years of law school, Hugas traveled through Europe and was, among other things, a stage manager of an Irish theater and a tour guide. Back in the Netherlands he started his professional career as an actor.
