China Girl - Oz the Great and Powerful
Since 1936, the Puppeteers of America has held its national festival; a week long celebration of the art and craft of puppetry. Hundreds of puppeteers gather from all over the world to learn and perform. Over 70 years from its inception, performers and enthusiasts gather in St. Paul, MN to reprise the now bi-annual ritual. Puppet Rampage intended to reach out to a younger audience in a largely aging demographic. Are puppetry festivals still relevant? Will the art form survive? Puppeteers ranging from unknown to legendary sound off as the week rampages on.
