University of Alabama at Montgomery, class of 1887. He was only 18 years old at graduation and received his M.D. in 1891 from Bellevue Medical College in NY. He was a medical inspector in the NY Health Dept from 1895-1897 and then became an Assistant Instructor and Diagnostician for the NY Hospital Dept.
