- Egon Hostovsky was born on April 23, 1908 in Hronov, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary [now Czech Republic]. He was a writer and actor, known for The Spies (1957), Vyderac (1937) and Nezvestný (2003). He died on May 7, 1973 in Montclair, New Jersey, USA.
