Olly Holzmann was born in Vienna (Austria-Hungary). Together with her sister Illy Holzmann she was an ice dancer. The two toured many European cities in the early 1930s. As an actress she is known for her roles in the ice revue "Der weiße Traum" (1943), in "7 Jahre Pech" (1940), and in "Frau im Strom" (1939). She was married to Alexander Orley.
