Kathleen Hogan(I)
- Actress
Kathleen Hogan is a New York-based actor whose career has spanned more than three decades across film, television, and theatre.
Her television credits include Manhunt (Apple TV+), Sleepy Hollow (Fox), Bluff City Law (NBC), Dolly Parton's Heartstrings (Netflix), Scream: The TV Series (VH1), Good Girls (NBC), Dynasty (The CW), and Cobra Kai (Netflix).
On film, Kathleen appeared in Robert Redford's The Conspirator (Lionsgate) and Jon Stewart's Irresistible (Focus Features), as well as Charming the Hearts of Men, starring Anna Friel, and Dandelions, for which she received Best Actor honors at the Chicago International Film Festival. Most recently, Kathleen stepped into the iconic role of Norma Desmond in the short film Ready for My Close-Up...and had entirely too much fun doing it.
Her favorite theatre roles include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth and the Baker's Wife in Into the Woods, both at the Morton Theatre.
Known for disappearing into distinctive character roles, Kathleen's work ranges from grounded drama and elegant authority figures to eccentric comedy, often with an unexpected edge. A skilled dialect actor, she has extensive training in Uta Hagen and Linklater techniques and studied at Shakespeare & Company in the Berkshires. She holds a BFA in Theatre from Kent State University.
Kathleen is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity Association and is represented by the Daniel Hoff Agency.
