Rose Hill was born on June 5, 1914 in London, England, UK. She was an actress, known for 'Allo 'Allo! (1982), A Shot in the Dark (1964) and Every Home Should Have One (1970). She was married to John St Leger Davis. She died on December 22, 2003 in Denville Hall, Northwood, Hillingdon, London, England, UK.

Began her career as a soprano in 1939, and for 12 years performed on the English operatic stage, mainly with the Sadler's Wells and English Opera companies.

British character actress, best known as Fanny La Fan in the long-running sit-com 'Allo 'Allo. She continued to act until her eighties before spending her final years living at Denville Hall, the actors retirement home in Middlesex.
