Shannon Hile

Richard Eden and Shannon Hile are a husband-and-wife writing team who have gained recognition in the industry, appearing on the Hollywood Blacklist and the Young and Hungry List. They have also been finalists in prestigious competitions such as the Nicholl Fellowship, Austin Film Festival, Cinequest, and Final Draft's Big Break. Shannon, a Los Angeles native, spent her early years at the Actors Studio and co-founded The Los Angeles Art Theater, where she earned seven Drama-Logue Awards, three NAACP Theatre Awards, and three L.A. Critics nominations. After studying improv with The Groundlings and Toronto's Second City, she toured Canada with the sketch comedy show "On The Off Ramp" before shifting her focus to writing and directing. Shannon is best known for her role as William's adopted mother on "The X-Files" and for portraying the lounge singer "Shari Fabu" on "The Late Mr. Pete Show."
