Claas Henke is a Visual Effects Art Director known for Titanic (1997), A Beautiful Mind (2001), and Black Panther (2018). He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Growing up in Northern Germany, he began making Super 8 movies as a teenager. While studying in Munich, he worked at a video post production company and took on jobs as a Storyboard Artist. He moved to Los Angeles in the 1990s and eventually found work in the entertainment industry, starting off as a Digital Compositor on TV shows and commercials. His first movie project was James Cameron's Titanic (1997), working for visual effects company Digital Domain. In 2013, he became Art Director for Eyeline (then named Scanline), a visual effects studio now owned by Netflix.
