Pamela Hayden
Pamela is best known for voicing Milhouse, the classic underdog and lovable sidekick to Bart on the Emmy Award-winning show, "The Simpsons". Milhouse has always been a fan favorite. They love his signature laugh and catch phrases. often asking Pamela to recite their favorite lines , such as "This is what it feels like when doves cry" and "Everything’s coming up Milhouse." When interviewed, several of the show writers have stated he’s their favorite character to write for. Pamela began working on the prime time show at its inception, and through the decades she has voiced a myriad of characters (such as Jimbo Jones, Rod Flanders, etc.) She voices boys and girls, babies and old men, but Milhouse has always been her favorite. She’s been quoted as saying: "I’ve always had a special place in my heart for the blue haired ten year old boy who never gives up." In addition to the series, Pamela was featured in The Simpsons movie. She has also performed live shows with the cast in Aspen, Montreal, London and Edinburgh.

Pamela voiced all the animals in the quirky movie "Being John Malkovich." She also voiced the baby on "Roseanne "and Fran Drescher’s dog ,Chester, in the holiday special "Oy to the World."

She has done over 100 voice over commercials and a slew of animated series: "Lloyd in Space", "Turbo Teen," "Recess"," Pinky and the Brain", and "Hey Arnold", to name a few. She also voiced the role of Sublimity Jill with Sean Astin in the TV film, "Party Wagon." She worked on "The Craven Street Project" for NPR and appeared on "Television’s Funniest Women". One of her favorite jobs was working on "Heartbeat Radio Theatre." Quoting Pamela: "That was such a unique gig. They were these melodramatic radio scripts where you could really use your ‘acting chops’. And there was a ‘foley artist’, a guy who literally stood in a ‘gravel pit’ next to the actors doing all the live sound effects. He’d make the sound of a door creaking with props or physically recreate realistic footsteps using the gravel. It was pretty cool."

Pamela’s television credits include: "Happy Days", multiple episodes of "Hill Street Blues", "Designing Women", The Robert Schimmel pilot", "A Family of Winners", "Studs Lonigan" and The Young and the restless." Her favorite credit was working with Rob Reiner, who directed her in the TV movie,"More than Friends".

Pamela studied scene work with several highly respected acting teachers, including Sanford ("Sandy")Meisner and Gordon Hunt, Helen’s father. Coincidentally , Gordon directed Pamela in her very first animation job at the legendary Hanna Barbera studios.

As a writer, Pamela had a successful stint in L.A. and New York, at the Soho theatre, with her one woman show "Send Chocolate & Marlboros," which spurred her passion for writing. She went on to co-write the book for a staged musical, "Down on the Pharm";Pamela also wrote the lyrics. She penned and co-produced the award-winning documentary "Jailhouse to Milhouse." She’s currently co-writing a live action animation short entitled "Dreamer" that revolves around a rescue dog.

Awards & Honors: Her documentary, "Jailhouse to Mllhouse", garnered 8 awards in film festivals around the country. She is a proud recipient of a Peabody Award for her work on "The Simpsons". Pamela was nominated for a Prime Time Emmy for Best Vocal Ensemble for "The Simpsons" in 2014 and 2015. Pamela won an L.A. Drama Award for her stage performance in "Amos & Ann."
