Biography

Phil Hawn is an American actor known for his character work across television, film, commercials, and music videos. He is recognized by many viewers as the Gettysburg Park Ranger on The Office, as well as for his NBA on TNT promo opposite Charles Barkley and the late Fred Thompson. Hawn’s television credits include roles on Veep, Talkshow with Spike Feresten, and Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, where he became a fan favorite sketch performer. His film work includes Even Steven, Supreme Sanction, and the upcoming Ghost of the Game. He has also been featured in national commercial campaigns and comedic infomercials, including Bahamas Tourism’s Bahamavention and You, as well as the music video ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic: It’s All About the Pentiums. Before transitioning fully into acting, Hawn built a multifaceted career in entertainment - first as a touring musician and sketch performer, then as a computer graphics artist and editor for film and television. After relocating to Los Angeles, he trained at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and The Groundlings before joining SAG AFTRA and establishing himself as a versatile on-camera performer.
