Gene Havlick was an American film editor. Among his most noted films are It Happened One Night (1934), Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936), Lost Horizon (1937), You Can't Take It with You (1938), Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939), and His Girl Friday (1940).
Havlick won the Academy Award for Best Film Editing for Lost Horizon (with Gene Milford); he was also nominated for an Academy Award for You Can't Take It with You and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (with Al Clark).
