Ataullah Hashmi was a Pakistani film producer and a film director of Pakistan.He is known for making some commercially successful films in Pakistan including Naukar (1955),Chhoti Begum (1956),Daata (1957) and Ghalib (1961). He was nice enough to train some new talent in the field of film direction in Pakistan including his personal friend film director, Khalid Khurshid of film Shola Aur Shabnam (1967) fame. He also served as chairman of the Pakistan Film Producers Association for some years.
