Pat Hartley was born on November 19, 1945 in New York, USA. She is an actress and producer, known for Ciao Manhattan (1972), Absolute Beginners (1986) and Prison (1965).

New York-based model and actress of black and Moroccan heritage, Hartley acted in films by Andy Warhol and was a girlfriend of Jimi Hendrix. She later married Dick Fontaine, the head of the Documentary Direction department at the National Film and Television School in the U.K.
