Biography

Scott Hartford

Biography

  • After helping to grow Prometheus Entertainment from studio-based startup to one of the premiere independent suppliers of non-fiction and documentary programming in the cable television marketplace (most recently as Chief Creative Officer), Hartford launched 7iron Media in May of 2012.

Hartford, whose nearly 600 hours of credits include hit shows such as "The Girls Next Door," "Kendra" and "Ancient Aliens," specializes in the development and production of character-driven non-fiction and docu-soap programming.

Prior to being hired by Prometheus, Hartford served from 1997 to 1999 as Director of Development at Foxstar Productions, a unit of Fox Television Studios. During his tenure there, he helped supervise the rapid expansion of the company's output - from 20 hours of programming per year to more than 65 hours in 1998.

Hartford has an M.F.A. in film from the University of Southern California. His fluency in both Japanese and Spanish has helped him to obtain film and television production experience throughout Asia and Europe.

7iron Media is repped by UTA (David Kirsch, Joe LaBracio, Geoff Suddleson and Allison Wallach).
