Hamtree Harrington was born on January 11, 1886 in Columbia, South Carolina, USA. He was an actor, known for Mills Blue Rhythm Band (1934), His Woman (1931) and Keep Punching (1939). He was married to Maude Miles. He died in June 1954 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.

Had a popular vaudeville act with singer Cora Green, with whom he recorded "If I Can't Come In, Please Don't Let Nobody Out" for Brunswick. They also appeared together on Broadway at the Palace Theater and in the musical shows "Strut Miss Lizzie" (1922) and "Dixie to Broadway" (1924).
