Biography

Christian was born Christopher William Harmony in Danvers, Massachusetts. After becoming interested in films and acting while still at school, he attended Salem State College with a major in Theater Arts, moving to Los Angeles in 1998. Shortly afterwards he was offered a part in a Roger Corman horror film entitled The Doorway (2000); the film was shot in Ireland and starred Roy Scheider.

Christian was born in Danvers, Massachusetts at Hunt Hospital as Christopher William Harmony. His parents had him at a young age, and his dad brought him to the movies every weekend (setting in motion his love of film). He started acting at home, pretending at first to be the Doctor from the BBC Sci Fi show "Doctor Who", then moved on to writing and performing in self written Monty Python sketches with his best friends. A few years down the line he grew an obsessive love of the show "Miami Vice", so of course Chris and his friends made Miami Vice videos. Christian even started dressing as Don Johnson (he took a lot of flack for that one in junior high).

Christian didn't work up the courage to audition for a high school show until his sophomore year. He was pushed into it the day of the musical auditions for "42nd Street". He didn't have a song so he sang Depeche Mode's song Somebody Acapella. He snagged a small chorus role, enjoyed it enormously and was hooked.

Christian attended Salem State College with a major in Theater Arts. He spent 5 long years there trying to fulfill all the crazy credits. Finally he succeeded in '98 and immediately moved to LA. LA life proved to be as difficult as all the books had warned. However Christian managed to snag an agent (BBA) within a month and within 5 months had booked a Roger Corman horror film entitled "The Doorway". The film was shot in Ireland for a month. Christian packed his bags and headed of to shoot his first film, starring Roy Scheider (one of his favorite actors).

As of now, June 2003 Christian can be found taking classes at The Howard Fine Actors Studio and planning his own Theater Company/Artist Resource Center/Coffee House. In his "free time" he works with a personal trainer and takes actors Headshots.
